This image of the Angel Gabriel is taken from the beautiful Annunciation Window in Winchester Cathedral designed by Edward Burne-Jones of The Pre-Raphaelites William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones stained glass partnership, harking back to the medieval glass common in English cathedrals and churches before much of its destruction in the 16th and 17th centuries Window 'Roundels' are round glass decorations designed to hang in a window of the home. Various sizes of Roundel are produced by hand-printing directly onto the glass. The Window Art Roundels and Panels are framed with traditional stained glass lead, and hung with trace chain. All products are supplied with window suction cups. It is recommended to apply a smear of egg white on the back of the window suction cups to prevent them drying out in double glazed and drier window conditions. Supplied in burgundy and gold gift boxes.
